The white dove has been for many years recognised as a symbol of Peace, Love and new beginnings; in the Christian faith the dove is seen as a messenger from God – the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove. It would appear that whatever your faith, the releasing of a dove at this very special time is a wonderful gesture and will be a very memorable one. Our birds have also been requested for such prestigious events as the launching of a book, the inauguration ceremony of the Archbishop of York and will shortly be featuring in a BBC production on "Love through the ages".
